Name: Kitt

Species: Vulpix (Native to the Kanto region)

Gender: Female

Age: 'Adult/Mature'
She doesn't track her age like a human does. She's physically mature for her species and mentally about the same age as a 20-something human.

Height/Weight/etc: Basically small dog size. About a foot high at the shoulder, two feet in length excluding her tails and about 25 to 30 pounds at a healthy weight. (This info is subject to slight changes as I figure out what a proper weight for her size would be.)

Identifying marks: As if it wasn't obvious, she's missing her right rear leg from just below the knee joint. She's managed to survive well enough without it, but it does still cause her issues from time to time.

Diet: Omnivore with a leaning towards carnivore. As a fire type Pokemon, she can happily chow down on a lot of flammable/burnable objects like coal, wood, paper and so on. Alcohol and other flammable food grade fluids can make her tipsy and send her flame generation into overdrive. Man made oils, gas, etc are not something that would be safe for her to consume. They won't kill her, but they'll make her very sick.
(Important note: Our Tabletop game had 'real' animals living alongside Pokemon because we wanted to fill in the 'food' needs of Pokemon without necessarily having them eat each other.)

Powers: Unlike the Pokemon games, Kitt doesn't strictly speaking know 'moves' as they are used. She has no need to assign words to her attacks, and doesn't bother since she's not fighting in a competitive tournament. She can do standard animal 'attacks' kick, bite, scratch, dig and so on, even if it's not a 'learnable' game move. Her fire abilities are more along the lines of pyrokinesis. She uses it as a natural tool, attack and defense. 'Attacks' and such like the games aren't things she normally does, but she can shape her flames and fling them when needed. She cooks her food, uses it to make her den dry, warms her space, etc. If she has to get into a full on battle, she's likely going to get creamed. She's still only the size of a small dog after all.

Personality: Kitt is curious and friendly, but also wary. She's unsure about trusting humans in general after being battered, abused and abandoned (she ran away, but the emotional abandonment still counts), but she's not about to just attack them either. She can be skittish around loud noises and will normally hide if startled too badly.

That said, she's a viscous fighter when cornered and won't hesitate to use dirty tricks and excessive force if she thinks her life is threatened. She's stronger than she looks, but even so she can be easily stopped if someone knows what they're doing. She has honed her ability to fight so that missing limb doesn't really cause too much of a handicap, but she'd still rather run away than get into a knock down, drag out fight.

Other things to note: Much like Meowth from the Pokemon anime, she can speak like a human. Normally she does not, often hiding this ability. She finds it attracts far too much attention and she doesn't want to be made into some kind of sideshow attraction.

Belongings: Kitt carries a small, slip on harness backpack with her at almost all times. It's not very large, but she doesn't have all that much.
It contains: Berries, 2 each of Cherri, Oran, and Pecha. A rolled up blanket. A small 'wok' style metal pot. And her most prized belonging, a Fire stone that has been sealed up in foil, parchment and wax to prevent 'accidents'.
(Yea, the drawing is bad... but I drew it close to 5 years ago. lol)

History:
Coming soon, but point form list can be found here. Mind the content, her history isn't all that pleasant.

WARNING! This is not a pretty, happy friendship story for her background. Contains violence, abuse and injury. Put it under a cut just in case.

Back to the less nasty stuff.

- Kitt had a hard time ahead of her, even going so far as to go back into human towns to steal food however she could get it. Trash cans, unattended food, even shameless begging if it seemed safe enough.
- She had a hard time dealing with the loss of her leg, never staying in one place for very long, unwilling to stay where she might be caught again.
- Eventually she ended up joining up with a group of Pokemon in the 'Deep Wilds', where humans rarely ventured.
- Kitt made a few friends there, got actual medical help there and became used to the loss of her leg.
- After a time she spent enough time working that she was able to trade for a small backpack. It wasn't something most Pokemon wanted, but she needed something as she was aware of her handicap and was smart enough to realize that the more of her that was covered, the less there was for a Pokeball's capture beam to latch onto.
- She stayed for a while, but eventually moved on. Going back to her wandering.
